"1st prize winner by the Muslim World league in the Seerah competition" ‘
The Sealed Nectar’ (الرحيق المختوم) is a treasure of a book and praiseworthy work on Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life. This book was written by the Eminent Shaikh Safiur-Rahman Mubarakpuri of Jamiah Salafiyah, Banaras (India) and won the first prize in the world seerah competition. The first Islamic Conference on the Seerah (biography of the Prophet PBUH) was held in 1976 in Pakistan sponsored by the Muslim World League.
The League announced a worldwide contest for writing a book on the life of the Prophet (PBUH). SAR 150,000 was announced as the grand prize for the best five books. The manuscript of Shaikh Safiur-Rahman Mubarakpuri, Jamiah Salafiyah Banaras (India) for the sealed Nectar received the first prize worth SAR 50,000 for its authentic and sound collections of the narrations. This biography on the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) covers his lineage, the entire period of his life in stages as well as the spread of Islam. The text is supported with quranic verses adding to the credibility of the work.

Searching for a comprehensive seerah to read? The sealed Nectar has been awarded the 1st prize in the seerah competition held by the Muslim World League. The heart of every Muslim is filled with love for our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and this love for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) is an asset for us. He no doubt is deserving of every ounce of respect and love as he set an example for all of humanity with his life. Every action of his life is to be followed by every individual of the Muslim Ummah. Achieving the highest love for the Prophet (PBUH) is a test of our Faith.
Allah the All-Mighty has described and explained the status of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Qur’an as:
قُلۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُحِبُّونَ ٱللَّهَ فَٱتَّبِعُونِی یُحۡبِبۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ
Say (O Muhammad to mankind): If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e., accept Islamic monotheism, follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah ), Allah will love you...’’ (آل عمران: 31)
